Vidya Raman, Sorenson Ventures

Vidya Raman is a principal at Sorenson Capital and focuses on the firm's early stage technology practice. Vidya is passionate about working with entrepreneurs building lasting businesses that solve significant problems which also are inclusive in every way possible. Prior to Sorenson Ventures, Vidya has built and grown enterprise businesses as a product leader in several industry verticals ranging from enterprise software, industrial IoT, networking and health tech. Most recently, she led product management for Cloudera’s AI platform, where she was responsible for making AI at scale a reality for customers spanning industries such as autonomous driving, biotech, banking to governments. Prior experience includes eMeter (Sequoia-funded, acquired by Siemens), Silver Spring (Kleiner funded and IPO exit), and Medtronic (healthcare).Her all-time favorite career accomplishment was to have found product-market fit without having to write a single additional line of code.Vidya received her MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, Masters in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Bachelor’s in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Bangalore University.

 

 

Joe Jasin, DNA Partners

Joe Jasin is the managing director of DNA Partners, LLC, an early stage venture capital investment firm. DNA invests in digital media value chain technology companies based in the U.S. and China. Joe spends about 20 to 30 percent of his time in China. Joe has over 20 years of experience in a career that spans globally in the mobile/wireless and digital media industries, having establishing a robust cross border presence in the U.S. and throughout Asia.

 

 

 

Gaurav Tewari, Omega Venture Partners

Gaurav Tewari is the managing partner of Omega Venture Partners, a venture capital firm based in Silicon Valley.Omega is the first venture capital fund focused on intelligence augmentation (IA)—investing in disruptive and innovative enterprise-monetized companies leverage artificial and machine intelligence to aid and amplify human productivity, judgment, and decision-making. Gaurav has extensive experience in world class leadership, investment, and operating roles. Prior to Omega, Gaurav was a managing director of Citi Ventures, a principal at Highland Capital, and a consultant with McKinsey. He started his career in engineering and product management roles at IBM and Microsoft. Gaurav holds nine issued U.S. patents. He holds bachelors and masters degrees in computer science from MIT and an MBA from Wharton.
