The Power of 100X - Full Speaker Bio

- Lisa Lo, Partner, CID Group (羅文倩 | 華威國際合夥人)

Lisa has extensive experience in technology direct investments in Greater China and North America. She is currently Partner at the CID Group, responsible for CID’s investment activities in China, and serves as the board director at many portfolio companies in education, Internet, consumer, and enterprise services.

Prior to CID, Lisa was with China Development Industrial Bank (CDIB) in both Direct Investment Department and Overseas Business Department. From 1992 to 1997, she was involved in numerous projects which covered PC, semiconductor, communication, and material industries. From 1998 to 2003, she was instrumental in setting up CDIB Venture Management (USA) in Silicon Valley as an Executive Director, with USD 150 million under management.

Lisa joined CID in early 2004 and moved to Beijing, China, building CID’s China direct investment team and portfolio. She got her MBA degree from National Cheng-Chi University (NCCU), and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University. She is now a DBA Candidate of NCCU.


-  Tanna Yang | VP & Se Chief, Fintech Investment, CTBC (楊上萱 | 中信金控 金融科技企業投資)

Tanna Yang established the Digital Venture Center (upscaled to Fintech Investment Department in July 2019) at CTBC Financial Holding Co., Ltd. and has been responsible for CTBC group’s Fintech investment since 2018. Prior to this, she has been the Chief of Staff at the President & CEO Office, and been involved with strategy and communications among subsidiaries, and new project initiations. Tanna also has over 10 year experience in Corporate Banking. She was in charge of international trade finance and platform for corporate clients at CTBC Bank, rolling out the service to Southeast Asia during 2013-2016.

Tanna holds a B.A in Applied Mathematics from Chiao-Tung University and an MBA from Cheng-Kung University.

楊上萱現於中國信託金控負責金融科技投資，範圍涵蓋海內外的新創、創投基金、和加速器。她在2005加入中國信託後歷練法金產品開發和業務、東南亞市場經營、和高階幕僚等任務，並於2018年建立專責金融科技投資的團隊，架設傳統金融機構和新創之間投資和合作的橋樑。她享受與不同背景和階段團隊合作過程的火花，相信好奇心和包容力會創造美好的明天。畢業於交大應數系、成大企管所。


-  Cinnie Huang | Investment Manager, Industrial Technology Investment Corporation (黃馨逸 | ITIC 投資經理)

Cinnie Huang is an investor in AI and advanced materials and serves on the board for multiple startups. She is passionate about helping early stage startups find synergies with Fortune 500 companies. Since joining ITIC, she has formed a fund with Carnegie Mellon University as a way of giving back to her alma mater.

She has over 10 years of experience in team leading, strategy planning and building from zero-to-1 as a product manager. Cinnie graduated with honors in M.S. in Human Computer Interaction (HCI), double major in B.S HCI and Business Administration in the same year. She is a Siebel Scholar.

黃馨逸專注於人工智慧與特殊材料的投資，並為多間新創公司擔任董事。她熱衷於幫助早期的初創企業找到與財富500強公司的協同效應。自加入ITIC以來，她也與卡內基梅隆大學成立了合作基金，作為回饋母校的一種方式。

她在團隊領導，策略規劃和從零到1的構建方面擁有10多年的產品規劃經驗。黃馨逸以優異的成績畢業於M.S. 人機介面（HCI），並於同年獲得B.S 商業管理與人機介面雙學位。她榮獲Siebel Scholar殊榮。


-  Lucia Liao | Head of Startup Enabling Business Unit, GadgeTek | Acer Group (廖幼梅 | 酷碁科技 - 宏碁集團)

With more than ten years of experience in Acer Group, Lucia was responsible for product strategy communication and business development during her expatriate period in EMEA regional headquarters. After returning to global headquarters, she was successively appointed to handle corporate strategic planning, Asia Pacific business management, and assisted in the establishment of a new business unit.

Her latest position is to enable startup business within GadgeTek Inc. of the Acer Group, acting as a bridge between startups and Acer Group for product, business, and operation engagement.

在宏碁集團十逾年，Lucia在外派歐洲區域總部期間，負責產品策略溝通與業務拓展；回到全球總部後，擔任企業策略規劃、亞太營銷管理，並協助建立新事業體。現為集團中之酷碁科技內，推動新創合作事業之單位主管，作為新創公司與宏碁集團之間，在產品、業務、運營合作的橋樑。


-  Angela Liu | Senior Associate, Cherubic Ventures (劉倢伶 | 心元資本投資經理)

Angela is the Senior Associate at Cherubic Ventures, an early-stage VC fund with over 100+ portfolio companies in Greater China and the US. Some of the fund’s notable investments include Flexport, Calm, hims and Pinkoi. She holds a M.S. and B.S. of Biochemical Science and Technology, both from National Taiwan University.

After graduation, she joined the CDIB Principal Investment Department, responsible for technology investments in both Taiwan and Greater China. In 2017, She joined Hoss Ventures, a Taipei-based venture capital office which focus on early stage tech
investments across the US and Taiwan. She started her journey at Cherubic Ventures in 2019, focusing on early-stage healthcare and technology investment globally.

劉倢伶是心元資本位於台北辦公室的資深投資經理。她畢業於台灣大學生化科技學系碩士班，畢業後加入中華開發直接投資部，負責台灣地區投資案的評估。2017年加入如海創投，負責台灣與美國早期科技類項目的評估與投資。2019年加入心元資本，關注大健康與科技領域的早期投資。


-  Sunshene Tsou | Senior Investment Manager, Taiwania Capital (鄒杉玄 | 台杉資本)

Sunshene Tsou is an investor at Taiwania Capital, a venture capital firm initiated by National Development Fund and private enterprises in 2017. She serves as an investment manager at Taiwania Fund I with several investments in automotive, IoT, robotics & drones, and next-gen semiconductors. She is proactively helping portfolio companies and early-stage startups to link with companies worldwide and build partnerships with Taiwan companies.

Sunshene holds a M.S. degree in Financial Engineering from NYU and a B.A degree in Quantitative Finance from National Tsing Hua University.

鄒杉玄現於台杉投資水牛一號基金擔任資深投資經理，負責投資案件評估。她在2017年加入台杉團隊後參與了多項投資案，投資領域涵蓋汽車、物聯網、工業機器人、網路平台以及半導體等，並積極協助被投團隊尋找台灣合作夥伴。她畢業於紐約大學財務工程所、清華大學計量財務金融系。


-  Alyssa Chen, Head of Accelerator, AppWorks (陳敬旻 | AppWorks 加速器負責人)

Alyssa leads AppWorks Accelerator — “a factory that helps startups build their own rockets,” as she puts it. She interned at AppWorks for a year during university. After graduation, Alyssa started her career running business development and public relations for emerging artists and designers at Huashan 1914, Taiwan’s pioneering cultural creative park. In 2016, she returned to AppWorks as an Analyst and has contributed greatly towards our Accelerator before eventually becoming an Associate in 2019. She holds a Master of International Communications and a B.A. in German, both from National Chengchi University. Alyssa believes tenacity and grit are the hallmarks of a great startup founder and thoroughly enjoys helping entrepreneurs succeed. Off the clock, Alyssa spends her spare time indulging in an undying passion for design and art.

Alyssa 負責 AppWorks 加速器，樂於陪伴創業者打造出屬於自己的火箭。大學時期曾於 AppWorks 實習一年，碩士畢業後加入華山文創園區，負責新銳文創品牌的招商與媒體合作。2016 回到 AppWorks 擔任分析師，一直負責加速器相關計畫，2019 升任經理。平時除關注設計藝文，也喜愛與創業者走心。畢業於政大德文系、政大國際傳播所。


-  Cathy Hwang, Principal, Zumaya Equity (黃世佳 | Zumaya Equity 家族辦公室投資人)

Cathy Hwang is an investor with a family office based in Taipei where she manages a portfolio of public equities, debt and secondary instruments in the U.S. and Asia. Before moving back to Taiwan five years ago, Cathy was with Boston-based Battery Ventures ($8 billion+ in assets under management). While at Battery, Cathy was part of the Growth Equity and Private Equity teams where she sourced and invested in technology businesses in the U.S. and Europe.

Prior to Battery, Cathy was with the technology investment banking groups at RBC Capital Markets and AGC Partners in New York and Menlo Park, handling M&A, IPO, Private Placements, and LBO. Cathy graduated with honors from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Business Administration. In her spare time, Cathy curates a Facebook group called Taipei Book Cellar to promote deep-learning and knowledge sharing in Taiwan.

黃世佳畢業於加州柏克萊大學，現任私人投資機構高級投資人，超過十年私募、創投、次級市場的投資經驗，長期關注軟體產業(enterprise & vertical SaaS)，並擔任新創產業顧問。


-  Susan Wu | Angel investor with multiple 100x returns (吳怡佳 | 天使投資人)

Susan is an entrepreneur and angel investor who is focused on building a more human and humane future. She’s played a leading role in building Internet infrastructure that’s used by billions of people worldwide every day. She has been an early investor or team member of projects such as Twitter, Medium, Square, Stripe, the Apache Software Foundation, amongst others.

Fast Company named Susan as one of the "100 Most Creative People in Business" and "Most Influential Women in Technology." She is a writer and vocal leader of building a more ethical technological future, and has been published or quoted in journals such as Wired Magazine, the Atlantic, the New York Times, and many others.


-  Laura Huang | Author, Edge / Associate Professor, Harvard Business School (黃樂仁 | Edge 作者 / 哈佛商學院副教授)

Laura Huang is an associate professor at Harvard Business School and was named one of the 40 Best Business School Professors Under the Age of 40 by Poets & Quants. Previously, she was an assistant professor at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Her research has been featured in the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Forbes, and Nature. Her research has won awards including a 2016 Kauffman Foundation Fellowship. Her speaking and consulting clients include Google, Uber, BlackRock, Keystone, Bionic, and the Level Playing Field Institute. EDGE is her first book.
